Two teachers who got tired of the silence.

Sarah and Rebecca, founders of Speaking Cap

After years teaching English to adults and working professionals, we kept seeing the same thing: comprehension outpaces production. And more than anything, a lack of confidence eclipses real ability.

So we started experimenting with simple card exercises to get people talking on the spot, without the pressure of getting it "right." The format worked immediately: speaking stopped feeling like a test and started feeling like play.

We've since tested Speaking Cap with real students and professionals, and the teachers who've seen it want it in their classrooms.
